About the event

AI is moving fast in healthcare, from triaging patients to accelerating drug discovery, but the trust it needs to thrive isn’t built in a lab. It’s built in how we design it, govern it, and put it into the hands of real people.

This in-person event brings together voices from across law, pharma, life sciences, and the NHS to tackle some of the most urgent and practical questions around ethical AI in healthcare. How do we build systems that doctors want to use and can trust? What happens when an AI tool gets it wrong and who could be responsible? And how do we ensure patients aren’t left out of the conversation when their data is powering these tools?

Whether you’re an NHS clinician navigating AI adoption, a lawyer wrestling with evolving regulation, or a data scientist building models with real-world impact, this is a conversation we must have together.

The AI Healthcare Leadership Forum is held in partnership with Pinsent Masons + Domino Data Lab

Join this session to:

    • Explore clinical accountability in the algorithmic era and why keeping a human in the loop from R&D onwards is essential.

    • Unpack true explainability and what clinicians need to understand before they can trust an AI tool.

    • Examine bias, fairness, and data integrity to ensure health inequalities aren’t hard-coded into our systems.

    • Debate how regulation can safeguard innovation and safety without creating unnecessary red tape.

    • Reconsider patient consent and trust in an age where personal health data trains the models behind AI tools.

    • Discuss how to secure team buy-in, build skills, and foster conversations that embed ethics and responsible AI into an organisation’s core mindset.

This will be an event focused on honest conversation and cross-sector learning, with case studies, panel debates, and time to connect with others navigating the same challenges.
